Term & Conditions
I.) THE CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED IN CASES OF 'NO SHOW' OR FOR CHANGES IN THE RESERVATION OUTSIDE THE ACCEPTED NOTIFICATION PERIOD
Please note payment is cash upon arrival in euros. NO EXCEPTIONS. Your credit card will be charged ONLY if:
- You cancel a reservation with less than 72 hours(3 days) notice prior to the date of arrival. OR
- Changes are made to the reservation with less than 72 hours(3 days) notice prior to the appropriate date.
If a reservation is cancelled with less than 72 hours notice prior to the arrival date, the amount charged will be equivalent to the total amount of the first night's reservation. If a reservation is altered or changed with less than 72 hours notice prior to the applicable date, the amount charged will be equivalent to the total remainder of the original reservation.
II.) CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE BY EITHER FAX OR EMAIL.
Reservations made through other websites or agents (ie Hostels Europe.com, Hostels.com, Hostels.net, Hostel World.com, STA, VIP, etc.) can only be cancelled through said agents. IN ALL CASES PHONE CANCELLATIONS CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
III.)NO BED FOR INCORRECT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to abandon reservations if the given credit card information is incorrect or false. If the credit card information initially given becomes null or void (ie- theft, loss of card), it is the CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITY to notify Hostels Alessandro of said changes BEFORE the arrival date. Failure to do so may result in an automatic cancellation of your reservation.
IV.)NO REFUNDS OF PENALTY FEES (CANCELLATION OR ALTERATION)
No refunds of the above penalty fees will be made for cancellations or changes to the reservation due to guest input error, strikes, war, fire, floods, or other acts of god.
V.)OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
- Check-out is no later than 10am. In case you'll be arriving later than your original arrival time, please let us know as soon as possible so we know when to expect you.
- WE DO NOT FAX OR SEND LETTERS for Visa document applications to Italian consulates.
VI.) RESERVATIONS MADE BY TRAVEL AGENTS THROUGH THIS SYSTEM WILL BE CONSIDERED NULL AND VOID
As stated in our Frequently Asked Questions section, due to past problems, travel agents and agencies may NOT book accommodation for their clients using the Hostels Alessandro online booking engine. Reservations made in this manner will be considered null and void, the responsible travel agent/agency will be blacklisted and, where applicable, prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Travel agents or agencies wishing to book accommodations at Hostels Alessandro for their clients must contact our reservations staff directly via email !!
Note for GROUP RESERVATIONs!! *
Group reservations with the number of guests in excess of 8 people are not acceptable through the on-line reservation system. Important: Cases in which this term is not respected, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation/s without any notice and the paid deposit is not refundable!!
In order to verify availability for a GROUP RESERVATION, please include the following information and e-mai us: office@hostelsalessandro.com
1. Precise check-in/out dates 2. Exact number of participants and how the group is composed (how many females/males in students either in teachers.) 3. Age of students and nationality of participants. (Please indicate how many of students are under 16 years old, if the group contains minors.) 4. Room type preferred. 5. Hostel preferred (Alessandro Palace or Alessandro Downtown)
